INNOVATION

Especially in health and teaching industries, the exploitation of innovation potential is of great importance today. Every new development starts with an idea. Besides routine works as a lecturer and psychiatrist, Dr Salmi also spends her time inventing new products for teaching and educating students and public on mental health. My Proposal

This project aims to investigate the spiritual and other factors contributing to psychological stress of the public, patients and HCWs. An innovative project to empower psychological skills ( P=Problem solving, E= self-Efficacy, A= Assertiveness, C=Coping skills and E= Education on sexuality and reproductive health) of young women and girls. BASIC EARLY CHILDHOOD PSYCHOLOGY

This is a free online learning for parents, teachers and public who want to gain further understanding on the development of children's cognition, emotion, behaviour and moral values. It is a free course offered by UiTM . Click HERE for further information. This project won a Gold Medal award for e-learning innovation and development competition

TIARA MURNI - TERAPI KEMURUNGAN POSTNATAL

Tiara Murni is a Cognitive Behavioural Therapy developed by Dr Salmi in collaboration with other psychiatrists, psychologists and family physicians from Public Health Institute, Ministry of Health and University Putra Malaysia. The therapy is useful for mothers who have mild to moderate postnatal depression. It has been used by Ministry of Health for treating postnatal depression. Click HERE for further information
